Just got a new 717 . The second time I turned it on I found that the shooting through the finder was impossible. Terribly out of focus. I can't read any of the Menu items -- terribly blurrly. Everything is fine when I view/shoot through the LCD but I prefer to use the finder.
Did I hit a button acidentally that is causing this or is this a common problem of some sort. Is there a way to rest the camera to its orginal factory settings? Thanks |

Just above the Eye view finder, their is a Black lever for focusing to your eye. The lever moves left to right, and will focus the screen to your eye. Move the lever until the screen comes into focus for you. Try this to see if you can focus the eye piece to your eye. The lever can be bumped easily too. Hope this helps Bill |

Right above the rubber eyepiece for the view finder is a little black lever. Use this lever to focus. Hope that is all that is wrong.
