Okay, I read through most of the threads and still have not really found a semi reasonable solution to this problem. I keep getting "shadowy", ghost-like, and blurry pictures. I know there might not be a real solution but I'm sure those professional people or people with experience taking picture with this camera has found the optimum setting to lower the rate of poor pictures in low light. I tried keeping the camera steady as possible. I'm asking what would be the optimum setting to take pictures in low light? Shutter speed, MP, etc. Thanx

The #1 solution to your problem is to get rid of the T1 and get a P100 or similar camera. I have never gotten any acceptable indoor shots with the T1.

But the best settings for indoor shots would be in Program mode:

0EV, focus set manually to either 1M or3M, Multi metering, auto WB, ISO 200, Fine P.Quality, Normal Mode, High Flash level, P.Effect off and sat-cont-sharp set at 0.

Give those settings a try and see if you get any improvement.
