Hello,
Does Anybody know how to format a Sony memorystick? I bought a 128 Mbyte. For a wihile it went ok. By accident removed directorys from the stick. tried a format (fat) under windos2000. Now the camera (Sony P50) gives: Format Error |

you need to format with your camera , not with computer.

You need to format it again, this time be sure to select the "FAT16" option as the default for Win2K is FAT32 and digicams only understand FAT16.

I tried a FAT (16) format under W2K, still problems. The camera can't acces the card.
I tried also a format on the camera:same result, the camera can't reach the memory stick. On the PC its no problem, i can read and write to it. Anybody know if there is a special program from Sony or Sandisk to solve the problem? |
