It wasn't promised until the end of the month. I've only had a chance to take a few pictures, but very impressed so far.

I got my f828 last weekend. It's everything and more the Minolta DiMage 5 wasn't. Sofar I couldn't be more pleased. Gonna need lots of memory though. I got a whopping 9 photos shooting the largest tiff file on a 256mb sandisk ultra 2 cf. I'll have to shop around for a good price on a 1gb cf card.
This camera sure has resurrected my interest in digital cameras after spending almost 2 frustrating years using a Minolta DiMage 5 that you never knew if the resulting photo would be in focus or not. |

MemorySuppliers.com has brand new 2.2 gigabyte magicstor microdrives for 209 dollars with no tax and cheap shipping, ebay has lots of them, new, for 179.99 also but it appeared to me that it wouldn't arrive within 10 days after ordering, it also has 600 more rotations per minute than most 1 gb microdrives.
