Lens diameter question for H2

Awesome.... now I too understand....

After acquiring a used H2 (which I love by the way) I only got the basic camera - nothing else.

Everywhere I went it said that filters and adapters were 58mm, but that was the size of the outside tube (that the lenscap clips on) the actual lens extended beyond that point when turned on, which didn't make any sense.... whatever got screwed on would obstruct the camera... however the adapter you have talked about gets around that by extending the tube..... simple once one knows the answer!
