the Resolution Question

Dave,
I have seen quotes of the resolution of 35mm cameras anywhere from 15 million to 25 million pixels. I believe the real answer is somewhere within that range. By comparison, the crummy Kodak disc camera of ~1982 had a resolution of only about 3 million pixels. The question of image quality is much more complex than simply a pixel count. How you manipulate an image (i. e. in an app such as PhotoShop) plus on what printer you ultimately print it determine how good (or bad) the final image will be.
