I want to get larger pictures of birds.
I have a Sony H1 .Will I get better results if I :- 1.Use a telephoto adaptor or 2.Use the digital zoom or 3.just enlarge in photoshop. |

AdSLR with a very long lens and tripod would be best, but you have the H1.
Second best would be a well-examined and pre-tried telephoto converter lens (unless you are buying Sony's own). Some are good (Check out Raynox http://raynox.co.jp/english/digital/h1/index.htm), many other cheap brands are worthless. None will equal a long lens on a dSLR in sharpness and clarity. Use of PhotoShop (or similar) to properly crop and resize should/could be used in conjunction with a tele-photo. I would avoid in-camera digital zoom as I feel it produces results that are not as good as what you can do with the full image yourself in PhotoShop. |
