Is it OK to copy files from my PC backto the camera after enhancing etc? If so could they be renamed or would they need the Dsc prefix?

I'd like to do this so I can take the memory stick into my photographic shop and get some printing done. My Inkjet printer is OK, but I think a few of my better shots would benefit from being printed professionally.

I have a MagicGate 512MB Stick, but would probably use the original 32mb memory for copying back just a few at a time.

I note that the manual states "Data recording/playback that requires MagicGate functions cannot be performed with this camera". I'm not sure what that means.

Especially since you say you will be copying just a few pictures at a time to a different card, why not just get a card reader....that way you won't have to swap cards in or out of the camera or worry about the ability to rename files.

To answer your question, I believe you can recopy files to your camera, but you will not be able to view them with the camera lcd.
