In a separate topic titled: Why no Sports mode? -> http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=28, I had mentioned the trouble I had taking pictures of my kids on the "bumping cars" in an entertainment place. Thanks to those who advised me on some of the finer ways I could improve.
I was just wondering if someone could post pictures of kids playing on some similar kind of entertainment form where the movement is pretty fast... pictures taken on the W1 / 5 / 7. Thanks in advance and ... Cheers |

Could you let us know the shutter speed? Also, could someone let us see pictures of fast moving cars. In my case with bumping cars, my problem was worse ..... I could not predict where the kids were going to go and had to keep moving my camera all over! Cheers EDIT:: Am sorry but does "ExposureTime - 10/2000 seconds" refer to the shutter speed? Sorry for being so dumb! |

Probably not the most exciting shot of someone teeing-off but if was getting dark and it was the last hole of the round.

Now, could someone clarify this for me?
While Mudri's Exif data shows anExposureTimeof10/2000 seconds, that of Whisperin Squashshows an ExposureTimeof 10/200 seconds. How come that kind of difference ... Or is that the cause for the visible shake of the arm? I mean, I've come to understand that the shutter speed should be increased to take action shots and since Mudri's has the faster shutter speed, I presume that no visible shake / movement is noticed. ... I hope I'm right. One other thing .... was the shutter speed set that way befor taking the snap or was it on auto and therefore chosen by the camera? Thanks again ... I guess I'm getting to learn something after lurking around in this forums for a while ... although and unfortunately I still don't own a digital camera ![]() Cheers |

hello!
I like all your shots very much! Is all the pictures taken with the sony dsc-w1`? Is the sony dsc-w5 a newer model of this camera? Then the w5 has to be as good as the w1? Im not so good at this... =) |
