I recently experieced a problem with my Sony f707 turned it on andthe screen flashed error message "Cannot Read Memory SticK" fault C:13:01, has anyone experienced this problem - if so what does it mean? I have made 6500+ images and really like the camera.

A C:13:nn message means that the camera can't read or write data on the memory stick.Possible causes are

1. Damaged memory stick

2. Unformatted memory stick

3. Problem with the memory reader in the camera

To eliminate 1, try to read your memory stcik in an external memory reader or a different camera.

To eliminate 2, format it inan external memory reader or a different camera.

I am not sure you can eliminate 3, but it won't hurt to "reset" your camera (see your manual on how to do this). Sometimesweird problems would go away after a reset.

Hi , I have tried the options you mentioned - all my memory sticks don't work in this camera, but are OK in another Sony Camera - Tried resetting, butstill no change

followed all the recommended proceedures in the manual but nothing worked.
