Hello All,

Bumped into this band performing near our own backyard.

The musicians played great and were wonderful to meet and photograph.

H9, only Auto Levels, Focus Magic level 1, crop to 4x6, jpeg high for web.

Here is the link to my images of the peformance:

Hi Foxcub6,

Good but tough question. I will try to answer with a 100% crop illustration.

The first image in my gallery at my link in my above post, is an 8x10 image.

I selected two 1"x1" parts of the image and doubled its size twice.

I combined them in the following combination images for posting here.

The first is a 1x1 (300 dpi x 300 dpi ) crop of the original image.

The second is a doubling in size (4x) to 2"x2" and showing a 1"x1" crop of that doubled image. The bottom is a similar crop of the next doubled image, a 32"x40" image. ( my polite way of saying "Get up from your Monitor/LCD and step back to view the bigger image crops. )

Sorry if this is sounding like double talk. When viewing the images please remember they are usually viewd from a further distance as theenlargement gets bigger.

I like the 8x10. It is a matter of personal taste.

To shoot this Steel Band with my H9's built-in flash for fill for People of Color, is quite remarkable indeed for any camera.
