Really good 3D camera/camcorder for this small size & price. Memory 8GB, no memory card.
3D movies with 1920x1080, half-side-by-side ... ready for 3D monitors and 3D tvs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Display is hard to use in bright sun - but not with ViewFinder. One rubber band is enough.
Display = 2.4", magnifying 2.7-fach ---> that's is 6.5" ![]() ![]() ![]() |

These 3 video clips were taken essentially at the same time with these cameras in 3D mode. You can watch the 2D version, or with your favorite 3D viewing method, in 3D.
http://youtu.be/BNT0yBLCccs?hd=1 The Bloggie does well, though it is hard to hold steady. |

Two more add-ons to the Bloggie.
1. There is no removeable battery, so what do you do for extra juice in the field? Bring along a light, small lithium-ion battery that connects by usb: http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/DSC00083.jpg 2. Holding this really, small, really light camera is very difficult. An ad-hoc shoulder rig can be made from a small tripod: http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/DSC00079.jpg You extend fully one leg only, which rests on the shoulder. The other two legs go up against your body or, optionally are used as dual handles. Just like the pros. Link to Youtube 3D video using the brace - much better than handheld but not perfect. http://youtu.be/5xhCTb0gZGY?hd=1 Last edited by markr041; May 27, 2011 at 5:17 PM. |

The regular pictures are good, and the 3D ones are spectacular. here are two examples, with the anaglyph version made from the original full stereo image, so those with red/cyan glasses can see the 3D:

This video was shot to ensure that 3D is consistently seen in every shot and that color comes through even via anaglyph viewing.
http://youtu.be/mRZHmNKlgLI?hd=1 The Bloggie 3D takes amazing 3D videos, as good or better than the $1400 3D camcorders and much better than the 3D attachment does on the Panasonic camcorders. |
