Fantastic shot!! Is this the guy going to training school? Nicholas |
Steve,
Forgot to answer your favorite picture request. Here is one of my favorite images, taken last October on our first cruise. I got off the ship and wanted to show everyone what I saw, the Norwegian Spirit, 879 feet from Bow to Stern. My R-1, handheld, autostitch. I don't think anyone traveling on a ship ever photographed theirship in this manner. At least I like to think so. A bit of egotism, please excuse me: http://www.nickphoto123.smugmug.com/gallery/2026751/1/103952883/Original Nicholas |

I just took this photo now with my new H9.
I set it to Shutter Priority mode, with the shutter set to 20sec, ISO set to 80, and using the 2 sec self timer. Ihaven't done any post-processing yet? Any suggestions as to which pp effects I should use on this photo? I think its a bit too dark. I have Paintshop Pro 9. I have never really doneany ppon my photos, I usually just keep them in their original format, but now that I have this newH9, I would like to take my digital photography skills up a notch or two. Any pointers will be welcomed. Original 5mp image is here: http://picasaweb.google.com/bradjack...02618907233122 |

The H1 is still my favorite camera. This shot was taken a little over a year ago at Point Reyes, N. California. This is a view of the North Beach on a foggy Saturday morning.
