Few more of my favorites.
![]() ![]() Sorry about the post in this pic. I actually wanted it in the pic to show how close the deer come to the house. ![]() |

Beautiful shot of the white flower. Did you shoot RAW? The exposure is close to perfection. Well done! The Deer shots are also nice but a bit soft. I like the portrait photo w/ the waterfall in the background. Once again, nice exposure.

No RAW here. It's a Sony DSC-H1. The flower shot was actually done in auto mode on macro. No post processing done. That's straight out of camera. The waterfall pic surprised me on how it came out. My wife tends to over do posing for the camera and when I seen her looking at something I pulled up and shot. Barely had time to focus. Anyway, thanks for the kind words. |

I still have my H1 (although I hardly use it these days). Some of the most beautiful flower macro shots I have were taken with it. I've thought about selling it but I don't think I'd get much for it, so I decided to keep it.
Here are some of my fav. flower shots (hope you don't mind me posting them in your thread) taken with the H1...

Nice photos, Tullio!
Kid, I like your photos but this one has all kinds of blown out hightlights and is measurably over exposed. Perhaps it was just the Sony A-200 camera. It should look more like this, I sincerely believe. Sarah Joyce |

Thanks, Sarah.
IMO, I don't believe the A200 was at fault. This camera has very good DR. I think the image was a bit overexposed because the light was metered off the foliage, in a much darker/shaded area. As a result, the sky was over exposed. Had the exposure be set to -0.3 or -0.7, the result would be much similar to what you came up with.

Well there has not been any activity in this thread for over a month. So, I pulled out my trusty, older Sony H-5 this morning and gave it some exercise. I hope you enjoy the photo.
Have a great day. Sarah Joyce |

Nice shot, Sarah. Every now and then I do the same thing with my H1, I mean, get it out of the bag and take some pictures with it. Those old H cameras are excellent!

Thanks, Tullio-
Yes, the H-series cameras are no longer really super zoom cameras, by today's standards. However, they really had great image quality. You might have read my resolve to take my H-2 on the last trip. Well here is an H-2 sample photo. No flash was used, and the image quality is very nice for 6mp. Have a wonderful day. Sarah Joyce |
