Hi CyberF828, since I got a few full and graduatedneutral density filters and polarisers, it is amazing the difference you can make from an ordinary scene, I fnd it a lot of fun experimenting with various filter combinations and the effects they create, a good tripod and plenty of patience and your away.
High-rises of"Surfers Paradise" can be seen on the horizon, Sony DSC-F707 +neutral density and graduated neutral density filter. Aperture: f/5.6, Shutter: 7 sec, ISO: 100 |

This was my first successfulattempt (well in my opinion anyway) at Photoshop.
I have tried to get the hang of Photoshop in the past, but just got frustrated as I was always in too much of a hurry and it was just easier to opt for using one of the more simple tools to accomplish what I wanted to achieve. Very basic levels adjustments and cropping was as far as I went when it came to post-processing. Last night I decided to wrestle the Photoshop beast into submission and this is what I came up with. Its a series of 5 burst-mode shots taken with my old DSC V3 and compiled into this one image. Suggestions are welcome More of my favourite photos here: http://www.panoramio.com/user/596154 |
