Great shot, Tullio. Very sharp. I was going to make an attempt
to get a moon shot last but it became cloudy. Another try tonight... Jim |

Taken in the Philppines trying out the newH5 with flash. should have used ISO80, not very good at people shots.
Camera: DSC-H5, Aperture Priority, ISO400, 1/60sec, f/6.3, exp bios -0.3 |

Thanks very much, Jim. Hope you get that moon shot.
Justaman, what levels are you referring to? It seems like Wirraway, Cyberf828and myself are the most active contributors to this topic. Although I enjoy posting my fav images, I'd love to see other people's pictures and what kind of results other Sony cameras can deliver. So folks, go ahead and participate. Share your Sony images with the rest of us. |

Wirraway, I like the girl shot. It looks a bit noisy but colors are very accurate. I'm not a big fan of flash photography myselfbut I'm using it more and more specially when the subject is back lit. I'm not big ontaking pictures ofpeople either. I usually feel uncomfortable photographing strangers or asking them if they mind being photographed so I stick to family members or...to public places like the Toronto Intnl Airport

With my new Canon 30D arriving this week and some events happening this weekend I should have some good photos.

I was trying to figure out the flash compensation on the H5 and forgot about changing the ISO,so gotISO400 instead of 80 or 100 which would not have produced the noise in the girlshot. Just ran it through 'Noiseware' to fix the noise, hope this looks a bit better.
Agree, come on the rest of you Sony shooters lets see some shots. Nice shot in the airport Tullio, here is one I shot at Singapore airport on arrivalwith the wifes camera. Camera: DSC-W100, ISO 400, @ f/2.8, 1/40sec (handheld) |

Very nice, Wirraway! On my last trip to the UK I found that it's becoming more and more difficult to take pictures in public places such as airports, bus or train stations. In London at was approached by a security guard while taking pictures inside Victoria station. After explaining that I was a tourist, he left me off the hook but I was told not to take any more pictures in there. The same happened inside a shopping mall inLincoln. So, I'm no longer comfortable taking pictures in such places.
Cyberf828, youbought your 30D, hey?!? Nowwe will have to access the Canon forum to see your work unless, of course, you keep that Sony active. Congratulations on your new camera and hope you have lots offun with it. |

Last year I took the family to San Diego and one of the parks we visited was Lego Land. Pretty cool. I had my H1 with me that day (I took bothmy H1 and FZ20 on that trip) and shot some amazingLego work. Here's a full size Volvo station wagon.
