Great night for moon shots. Alittle bright but I could edit that out.

Awesome shots of the moon, Cyberf828. Lots of details, all very clear!
![]() Here's a picture I took with the H1 + TCON-14B tele converter. There's not much to it but I like the colors and DoF. |

I have to say again this has got to be the best thread I have created. I am going photo-walking Saturday so I hope to have some more photos. The Moon shots I hope to clear some of the lighting and adjust the shadows.

It certainly is, Cyberf828. Too bad only a few of us actively participate in it. I'm looking forward to see the results of your Saturday shootout (is it going to be with your Sony or Canon? or perhaps both?).
Great shots from Singapore, Wirraway. The images are crisp and colorful, typical of the H cameras. Moving from the city to the country, here's one from a State Park in Fremont, CA where there is an Indianpreservation area. I took this picture with my H1 and the Raynox DCR-6600prowide angle converter, which is a greatlens IMO. |

Tullio,
I will be taking both cameras I just bought a Tamrac #5546 backpack camera bag that will carry both. Now I sit and wait, I hate shipping but to save myself $300. by doing it I have more time then money  That $300 is going for a longer zoom lens. |

Now the expenses really go up! I have the K100 and since I bought it less than 6 months ago, I've added a 28-200mm, a 28mm prime and a 70-300mm lens on top of the kit 18-55mm lens that came with the camera. But, that was before I bought the R1. Now, I'm thinking about selling all my dSLR equipment, which also includes a Pentax-A 50mm 1.7 prime from my old SLR film days.I'mlooking forward to reading the initial reviews of the announced Panasonic FZ18 (18x zoom). If it's good, then I'll buy it and sell my H1 and FZ20. So, in the end, I'll have the R1 and the FZ18 ONLY.

If my H5 had more manual settings I might now have went to DSLR. I like the features the Canon 30D has but hate the price tag of everything that goes along with it. For me to get the zoom of my H5 I am going to be spending alot of money.
