Hello all, I hope that you will indulge me-
I want to post another photo of the back yard. But this time to make it a somewhat better deal, I have included BOTH the back deck and our pet seagull, Simon in the photo. BTW, the photo was taken with a Panasonic FZ-18. Sarah Joyce ![]() |

Good Morning, Cyber-
The ocean is always fun to look at no matter what time is. It is just before dawn now and it looks ever so peaceful. It is alway fun to come downstairs in the morning and look out at the Pacific. But because we like what we do, we alternate between doing workshops and being at home. Sarah Joyce |

Agree you have a great view from your deck Sarah, and the shot from the new Panny FZ18 looks very nicely done as well, let us know your thoughts on this camera.

That is another gorgeous beach shot, Ian-
I like your beach shot a lot. Regarding the Pany FZ-18, all of my shots thus far have been in the IA Mode. That stands for Intelligent Auto. The documentation on the FZ-18 is quite thick. I have sort of put off diving into the documentation until after we get launched on this next 2.5 month contract, when I can go through it slowly and thoroughly. We will head out for the UK on Sunday, so when things slow down a bit I will know more and can give you a better evaluation. Thus far, everything has been quite positive about the FZ-18, and I am anxious to learn more. Have a great day! Sarah Joyce |

Beautiful picture of the beach, Wirraway. Nice, warm colors.
Sarah, I thought you had canceled the FZ18 order. Glad to see that you ended up getting one (and the first pic looks very good to me, better than the H9 by the looks of it). I'm looking forward to seeing how it compares against the H9 at the long range of the zoom. |
