It was a beautiful place to visit I got to spend 5 days down there and it was the most fun I had in a while, So many sights to see, there is really not enough time in a day to soak it all in. I will be going back there. |

Very nicely done Cyber, the H5 has served you well with these crisp images.

Thanks, I did the best I can under the conditions I was in, it was 97% humidity there and the haze that was around everything was really bad at times. |

Good work, Cyber. Glad to hear you had a good time down in NO. I haven't taken any pictures with my Sony cams lately. I've got my K100 back from Pentax and have been playing with it, making sure they fixed it properly. Today I receiveda Sigma28mm prime I bought from eBay. It appears to be a very nice lens. Can't wait to take some photos with it tomorrow.

The 28 mm lens should be pretty nice. I have a 50mm and I want to get a 85mm.

Yes, it is. I also have a 50mm prime f1.7 but to be honest, I find it useless. Ittake great pictures in terms of quality but its focal range is very very limiting. The 50mm lens was good for film cameras but when you multiply x1.5, it becomes a 75mm lens and that's not good for anything. It's not wide enough for small areas and not long enough to capture close-ups. Now, the 28mm (x1.5) is much more versatile. It works well indoors and for landscape photography. I may end up selling my 50mm prime now that I have the 28mm.

Mine is a 50mm F1.8 and I have got some nice closeup shots if I was home I would post the bee photo I have it turned out really nice. I still have my thought is a DSLR was worth the price due to how much it would cost for me to get the same zoom my H5 has.
