Nice shots. I wish I could use my tcon 1758 with the R1. Because the R1 has a 5x optical zoom only, extreme vignetting occurs when using the 1758 (even at the long range of the zoom). I'd need at least 6x zoom in order to eliminate vignetting. Of course I can always crop the image toget rid ofthe dark corners but IQ is not that great either. I think there is a reason why Sony has a tele covert er specially made for the R1!

I was on a photowalk with my Canon and shot this reflection off a river of the sun. Boy did it turn out wild. I had the white balance set for cloudy and turned the exposure down one click.
