Hello All,
My sister purchased a camera for My parents and me. However, upon opening and using the camera, she feels the camera is slow. When you press the button to take a picture, there is about a 2 second delay for it to snap the picture (i guess it focuses or something). My sister says her older camera (sony cybershot 7.2 mp) took the pictures instantly. Is there a way to adjust this so the pictures are taken instantly, as soon as the button is pressed? Its not the timer for sure. I think it works properly, but i have to go by what she says. Thanks |

The only way to address your problem is to train yourself to have press the shutter release so that the camera pre-focuses first of all. The camera even gives you an audible tone to confirm that it has acheived focus. Then continue pressing the shutter release and your photo is taken nearly instantly. Have a great day.
