After my trip is over, I will be contacting Sony. How I use my cam differs, I make sure I conserve, and that means when I am ready to snap a shot I turn on quickly get a shot in , and shut the cam down. Sony is not meant for that abuse?
These are on the run snap shots & video. I experienced no screen icons, blurred start ups, and when ready to snap I had to be half way down for focused shots at times to see what I was shooting, as I use a lcd viewfinder not a electronic one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUXES3HaYk0 ![]()

Detail, detail, detail. everyone wants detail. Sad how slow this site became, it truly is? Rarely a person joins in, or jumps in. steves.... made a review, and that is it people think, decide to get the cam andoff they go. Ghost town, Here I am off on a journey, enjoying my time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUXES3HaYk0 I used to love editing with Magix, when they changed their locations ofeffects, was not as fun as it used to be. maybe the newerversins 2013 be better. what a shame. So sit back enjoy the clip hope to see some come in and just talk about the cam................. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUXES3HaYk0

Clearly one can see, in this beginning clip, out of focus? If this was an important shot then there be disappointment for sure? In order to prevent shots like this, we need not rush the shot. Layers of lenses. asking the cam to work over time, and more. Just a simple turn on, cam is focused, and hit record, was all I asked for. and yet Sony did not deliver? Guess this is a note to myself why I am not upset, but not many are coming around posting, commenting, either you all got a perfect cam, or just do not know about steves lol. SO yes cam will again go back to repai and off she will be on an adoption list?

Well... after much pondering.... which pocket zoom to go for.... Canon's SX240hs has joined my gang.
The lack of Shutter and Aperture priority mode on the Sony HX20v put it out of the running.... I wish Sony would address this issue- after all, it's on the RX100...! ![]() |

I got out there today, and went through a good hour plus, with one battery, and more, with the HX20V. Snap shots, video, leaving the camera on, shutting it off. Used a Lcd viewfinder, Many people gotten in my way, and off I went to see the snaps I got. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkLJgY0mRuA A lot of Red cars, and a lot of Yellow cars, a lot of exposed shots, and a lot of Sun. ![]() I am no pro, nor do I take the time to wait, and wait, and wait to take a perfect shot, that was why I gotten the Sony Cybershot DSC-HX20V, to do that all for me? ![]() Well I thought I said reds, and yellows, here is that last picture in yellow. Way to go Sony. more I use my cam, more I think, why did I get a Sony? ![]() Heck I got another one, because I loved the first one, next cam, deffintly not Sony.
