Welcome to the forums
Hey Abhi, I think your first shot would be greatly imporved with the use of a tripod. there seems to be a combiniation of movement from botht the cars and the actual camera itslf giving the image a very blurred finsih product. Im not sure how u intended the image to come out but the entire image does look as if it is out of focus. I also noticed the use of a wide fstop resulting in a shallow dof. Again im not sure if this is intended but if you want to achieve a deeper fov increase this. ofcoure with the fstop closing in ur shutter speed will slow out a bit more. definately a tripod moment. I do like the idea and what you are trying to accomplish and ther is definately potential ther. Ohh yea if you can size the images down to around 640by480 they will show up and fit screen much better. regards ken Your orig photo |

I tried a bit more of a tighter crop on the image as ther was no point showing the black hill on the left side. it also draws the eye in a bit better i think.i tried to play up the blur of the image to make it seem more intentional. Dont no what you think. hope u dont mind me playing with ur images.
I also increased saturation slightly and presented the image on a white plane with a border. regards Ken |

I thought your 2nd image was really well done. I feel it is a little under exposed but you have done well to get the focus nice and sharp.
In relation to composition you should try out spacing items into 3rds of the frame. gives a much more natural appeal to the image. Centralised subjects just seem to look odd. I think you are doin really well and look fwd to your new work. Also if you want feedback on your images post them in the critqes forum but you do need to down size the images. your original |

Here is my quick edit.
I recropped the image to put the main subject on the 3rd portion of the image. I brought out the shadow detail lost on the branch below the main subject due to the underexposure. I also increase saturation slightly and added a tad more sharpness i hope you dont mind. regards KEN |

![]() ![]() Thanx very much for your suggestions I will definetly take those in considerations. The first snap which is open road was taken without tripod and I wanted that snap to look like car went so fast that it left light trail behind...basically wanted to show open road and speed associated to it .......... Well plannin to purchase good tripod and telephoto and wide angle lens..... Can u suggest good lens 4 sony dsc h1........have u heard about raytona.....any comments on that lens ........... Thanx. Abhi. |

Hey no worries
Yea a tripod is so important with any type of photography. Yea i can see the effect you are trying to achieve. a tripod will pull it all together nicely. Unfortunately i dont own a h1 so i have no idea what works with it. But i look fwd to ur work regards Ken |
