I'm trying to decide which one is a better buy for an amature photographer. I'm plannning to buy this as a gift.
DSC-P73 4.1MP for Canadian$269 or DSC-P93 5.1MP for Canadian$349? I'll Appriciate your input. Thx |

Go for the P93. You might regret the P73 once you start getting used to taking photos and you want to get out of the amature thing.

The only difference between the two is the number of pixels, size of the CCD and number of pixels on the LCD. Otherwise their feature set is the same.
#P93 has 5MP, 1/1.8" CCD, 123K 1.5" LCD #P73 has 4MP, 1/2.7" CCD, 67K 1.5" LCD Obviously the quality is better on the P93. Personally I'd much rather a W1 or P100. |
