I've had this camera about 3 years now. Recently its developed a problem where the picture on the screen starts to shake as if the camera is being jecked up and down, even though the camera is still. Theres also some red discoloration of the picture. It only happens for a few seconds for about every hour of use. Rest of the time its fine. I don't think its an LCD problem because you can see it in images when loaded on the computer too.

If I take it to the repair shop they'll charge just to look at it. So, is it fixable or do I need a new camera?

It's a bad CCD. Take a look at the first topic in the Sony forum. Sony will fix it for free...

Thanks. I'm going to try calling Sony.
