I've ordered Sony TX7 :-) ... available in Europe. Price 2x W350 :-|

.. waiting for second source battery. I am using third party batteries for all my cameras - 1/10 of original price .. all work well.

Thanx - now 8 dealers (Germany) are offering TX7 ... hmmm, I need a User Guide/Manual :-)

i agree that the megapixel race has gotten out of hand. thats why i applaud certain manufacturers for stepping outside the box. canon deserves credit for their s90 and g11, dropping the nominal resolution back from the g10 and in the process making a camera with far better high iso capabilies and smoother pictures across the range. sony as well with their hx5/tx7 10mp backlit sensors. and is the reason why i am perfectly happy with my fuji f70exr, and using it in the 5mp mode to make full use of the pixelbinning/fusion (whatever you want to call it) EXR method which really yields some great dynamic range.

NOT EVERY ONE is taken with this camera, but 90%+ are

One more note... the pink paint on the side plastic trim piece has worn through in a few tiny spots (but the camera has been used a LOT). The front pink metal that most people see is much more durable and even has a scratch in it with no noticeable paint damage (I think it's anodized or something).

Still lovin' it overall...
