Sony F717 Camera Case.
HELP: What is the better case the Older 707 one LCS-FX
or the New 717 one LCJ-FHA, as they sell here for the same price.

Also what is a good case for to hold the Camera/Battery/Lens Hood/Filters and Mem Sticks, ie soft type shoulder case like the
ACC-CSFM or LCS-VA3 that is not even sold here, Sony NZ does not list a soft shoulder case at all.

Problem is that Sony stuff is not cheap here at all.

Thanks for your comment, but I had a look on the Lowe web site and could not see any cases specific to the Sony F717.

Do you have a Model number..?

no, there is no lowepro specifically for the f717. i've heard the

lowepro nova 2 is a good fit but you may want something larger in the nova series....

i suggest doing a search in google "lowepro nova for sony f717" or something like that....then click on groups at the top of the page to check out what the newsgrooups have to say

i bought a pelican 1400 hardcase for the f717 so i can take it canoeing

It will be more than enough for what you have. I just bought one about a month ago. This is what I've packed in it so far and there is still room for a spare lens (tele or wide angle). Possibly both.

F505V+instruction manual
HVLF1000+flash bracket+extra nimh batteries
Lens pen
Memory sticks
Spare battery
various filters (UV,Pol,R72)
a "slightly reduced in size" gray card, a paper pad and a pen.

It looks great too.
