Hi!
I have two problems with my Sony DSC F828: 1) The lense is loose; this seems to be somewhat normal and I should be able to fix this myself 2) This might be due to problem 1): The mode shifts by itself, partiularly during focusing.... Did anybody experience problem 2 or 1 & 2 together? I am wondering whether I should fix 1) myself or send it in to Sony right away. Thanks, Peter |

My F828 had a loose lens after almost a year. Sent it in on warranty and it worked great. I recentlytraded it in perfect working condition.
Get on Sony's web site and use the free Customer Service chat ( check times of operaration ) service to price a total rehab if you are out of warranty. I believe it is about $150-$175 to make your $900 F828 brand new. I hope you find this useful. Let us know how you make out. Nicholas |
