thx... But I really wanted to use this as a chance to find out if the HX5 is the perfect match for Macro Video and Pictures. Maybe I find a good comparison somewhere else
![]() By the way...did I say "by the way" three time in my first post ? ![]() |

I think TX7 and HX5 are the same ... with little differences :-)
If someone is searching "the best" camera, then he also can move sysiphus's stones ... or bend a square to circle. PS: I never read the 10.000 (senseless) postings in photo forums "difference between Cannon WXY783srx and Sonie TUV633ti" Someone who has to much time (endless) may compare his HelloKittyCam Model 2006 with HelloBettyCam Star III or ask for them. I read manual, buy they cam or buy it not. Asking for "better" means: "I cannot make photos, pleaaaase show me a camera, - better than I" ![]() |

I did a video test a few days ago .
the first shot is macro , then tests the different formats as well as audio in the end. I do think it has an onboard audio equalizer, because i was at a concert last night , and it has great sound but I figured it would blow out the mics and crackle and distort, but it didnt. In the video here , the music in car was not turned up crazy loud , but comes through fine as well. so it seems to boost low sounds and mute loud ones. which is great! heres link http://www.vimeo.com/10419891 |

@ DonalDuc : What are you talking about ? I was looking for the difference in macro film / pics between Tx7 and HX5. Thats a pretty specific task and far a way from bending a circle. You did also compare the two cameras ( by posting the cameras size comparisons of another person in this thread). So what is your point ? By the way...Not everyone has money to burn, so I think comparing and searching for a good fit is fair enough too ( and many people do not find this senseless , as the exsitence of many digi cam sites / forums show ). Meanwhile I gathered the needed information myself in the the Electro market.... but you know... I better leave your thread and your zaranov vodka + all the other healthy stuff you drink. Cheers

Is the LCD coloring a little warm for other owners of the TX7?

heres the lowlight video for hx5v if anyone wants to compare it to TX7.
Video is from Sony HX5V camera. testing the lowlight, and sound from stereo mics.. The Dennis Lee Band at the Sarasota County Fair shot with Active Video Stabilization turned on. all hand held and most of it zoomed in 10x. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vf5pGKqQQWU |
