Using "P" auto ... speed is done by camera. You can change it by changing ISO and/or EV

I am wondering if those with more expertise could advise me. I am about the pull the trigger on the Tx7. I mainly need the camera to take cat photo's to post on Petfinder, to facilitate adoptions. I work in a very busy cat shelter with 400+ cats. The lighting is usual fluorescent lights. I have to have a small point and shoot as I have to grab quick shots when I can. Other small cameras I have tried did not give me good colors. Do you think the Tx7 will do the trick? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Cookie Kitty-
Welcome to the Forum and to the Sony P+S folder. I do not own a TX7, but here is a photo from the HX5 taken without flash and under florescent lighting. Using the TX7's built-in flash unit flash will be a good idea as it will neutralize the green color cast that comes from commercial fluorescent lighting. Sarah Joyce |

Great pics DonalDuc.. you made my mouth water... guess what, I just dashed out to a deli next door and came back with some apples to consume.
quick question.. for pic postings for your Tx-7, do you know how long would the 666Kb site keep your photos before they erase?.. a few months before they remove or would they keep your photos foreever? THanks Ric |

Ric-
You are just posting a reduced size duplicate image. Save your originals. As far as I know, and I have been here since 2006, the image remains with the post. I also try to keep my posted images at or below 700 pixels on the largest side. Sarah Joyce |
