Hi DonalDuc,
Thanks for taking the time to post additional photos of your TX7 case. I see now why the TX7 can fit in the case due to the elastic sides. Thanks again! Skylark |

DonalDuc,
I notice that even when the EXIF data says that the flash fired, the shadows under the table objects is ofthentoward the camera. Your photo above shows that the light source is actually behind the object with the bright spot behind the bowl and the shadow coming toward the camera. Are you using a slave flash behind or over the objects? Thanks, Skylark |

![]() ![]() ![]() The TX7 that I just received is blowing out the subjects in flash photos under 4 feet or so. I wonder if it's defective? Thanks, Skylark |

No, it is not defect ... you must use Slow Synchro! Then pictures are ok.
Flash On I use for longer distances (seldom), flash Auto I do not use. Above pictures: if I don't want table top reflection of kitchen lamp, then I change position of camera :-) |

I've been googling the web and see that many point & shoot cameras have a "flash is too bright" problem for distances under 5 feet. The problem with the TX7 is that it does not have user adjustable flash exposure compensation. I'll post some test photos tomorrow to show how the flash on my TX7 is blowing out close subjects. Thanks as always for your help, Skylark |
