ElmoJunior-
Welcome to the Sony P+S folder. As you can see we have a very active group here. Make yourself comfortable and post some more photos when you have a chance. You photo is a great Springtime photo. It makes you yearn for the open road. Sarah Joyce |

Thanks, I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but any recommendations for a digital photo book to learn the basics? There are hundreds to choose from.

There is Patterson's book on Exposure, and there is Scott Kelby's "The Digital Photography Book." Sarah Joyce |

I'm not entirely sure what you mean; It's a vehicle indeed. I'm guessing you would have personally chosen to wait for it to exit the scene before taking the picture? I wasn't even paying attention to the road when I snapped the shot; But wether or not the blurred vehicle is a good thing in the picture is probably down to personal taste; I don't really mind. In fact it gives the frame a dynamic touch. But again, personal taste.
Happy shooting! GB |

...and my HX5v has been delayed, estimated delivery in 2-3 weeks. A little bit nervous since I'm going away 4 weeks from now.
I can understand that Sony's got problems with production, but Panasonic TZ10, Canon SX210, Casio EX-FH100 are all in stock. So, since it's only a complement to my DSLR I might have to reconsider and choose one of the others. Or the TX5 with its pros and cons compared to big brother HX5v. So, which one would you have chosen if there were no HX5v? Sorry for all the complaining, just a little frustrated.. |
