I get a lot of unsharp pictures when I use my camera in dark using flash. Is it because of me? Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe digital cameras are sensitive in the dark?

I assume your flash is actually firing OK and the images are correctly lit?
Also that you are working within the flash range of about 12ft? This problem isn't grain due to low light in areas not well lit by the flash? After considering all the above I would make sure you have the auto-focus assist illuminator tuned on. Do you see it bathe the subject in an orange glow when you take the shot? The other night I tried taking some pictures in the complete dark, with the the illuminator on they were all perfect but with it off every one was blurred. David (Experienced P52 user) |
