It was on the local news station nbc 4. During the noon news they have a segment called picture perfect where they televise a picture uploaded to the mymedia section.
Thank you for you nice comment. Vanpet |

Yup,
After much debating and going over the posts in this forum (which have been extremely helpful) I decided on the Sony. Haven't had a chance to play with it much but so far I love it. I plan on using it in church without the flash from time to time. Any recomendations on settings that would be best to use would be greatly appreciated. Enclosed is a picture of my first moon shot. Thanks Darrell |

Hi kitkrusher,
Took my pic Jan.9th just a little before 6:00 PM. The resemblance of the 2 pics are amazing. Like you I shot mine with the H50 zoomed in all the way. |

I think you all will be happy to know that the Sony H50 came out very well in the extensive superzoom 10 page test here:
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/q109...oup/page16.asp Image quality: outdoors / daylight If you mainly shoot outdoors in good light any of the cameras here will do the job, with little to choose between the better cameras here unless you intend to print at sizes larger than about 8x10 inches. The group is split roughly down the middle, with the Canon, Panasonic and Sony models (in that order) capturing sharper, more detailed results, but only if you look very closely. The least impressive of the bunch are the Nikon P80 and Fujifilm S2000HD - both use excessive noise reduction at base ISO (smearing detail and texture) and the P80's focus is unreliable at the long end of the zoom.

Hi Jack-
I agree thoroughly! I'm still using my H-50 and am very pleased with it. Sarah Joyce |

All these shots were taken with the Sony H50 last summer:
