Yeah, it is a great little camera. I gave mine to my Uncle when I made the DSLR jump a couple years ago and he still has it and uses it almost everyday.
BTW, very nice looking Mustang!

Hope33Rose-
What is your budget? Surely the Sony a33 and a55 are worth consideration. Sarah Joyce |

Hi there, Jack-
I am really glad that you and your family enjoyed an Alaskan Cruise this past June. You did a great job with your Cruise Slide Show. Are you still shooting the Pentax K20? Currently I am shooting with a Sony A-500. Sarah Joyce |

Jack-
Nikon certainly does a good job, and your photos demonstrate that quite well. Congratulations. Sarah Joyce |

Hi there!
While searching the web for info/tutorials for the H50, I found this thread. I see that you no longer have the H50, but I was wondering if you might be able to give me a some pointers/info ? I have had my H50 for almost 2 years and absolutely love it! However, I have had a hard time figuring some things out. The manual hasn't been much help either. I would love to take some photography classes, but time and money don't allow right now... So if you have some time, and are willing to maybe answer a few questions, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, that's ok too ![]() Thanks in advance, either way! - D |

Sure, dmariev, that is what we are here to do-
I still have my H-50 and shoot with both the H-50 and the older H9 as well as my Sony A-500. I still love my super zooms. So please ask away, and we will have some fun discussing the H-50.I will keep looking for your questions. Sarah Joyce |

Thanks, you both
![]() Ok, so I have had some fun fiddling with the settings, and trying out different exposures etc, but I honestly don't know much about which settings are best for what I am trying to shoot. IE- when I was trying to shoot a praying mantis on the screen in my backyard, (early evening with lots of natural light), I just couldn't get it to focus up close. I noticed I had the same problem while trying to shoot a small flower up close. I'm having a hard time actually figuring out what exactly I am trying to ask, but I guess I'm saying that I have no idea how to shoot up close. I don't remember what settings I tried using with the mantis or the flower. Sorry, I'm sure that isn't much help. I seem to be rambling a bit- again I apologize. If you are having a hard time figuring out what I am getting at (understandable) then please let me know and I will try wording my 'question' better haha I am on very little sleep, as I have a teething toddler who doesn't want to sleep, so I am not at my best, please bear with me ![]() Thanks again |
