Hello All,
We were above normal temps all week. And we are aware of the winter storm in the middle of the country. Hope all is well. We should get hit later on Friday, perhaps no snow by then. I took this shot to show just how warm it has been this autumn in New York. It is after Thanksgiving, all the leaves are gone, and this rose bud ignores these facts and reaches for the sky and the warm sun with the bare trees in the background: Sony R-1. Nicholas |

It was 80 degrees yesterday; low to mid 20's tonight. I'm sure that seems warm to our North and midwestern friends, but in South Texas that's very, very cold, and made your rose an even more welome sight.

Hello Ria & Greg, and All,
20 degrees?, FOUR degrees? Too early for that kind of air. Here is another rose pic from the same shoot. It was actually taken the Saturday before Thanksgiving once I checked the file info ( I could not edit the first post above for some reason ). To show how warm it has been these roses have bloomed on top of a branch that already died back with its leaves already an autum brown: Nicholas |
