The term "D7" is normally associated with the DiMAGE 7 (which is not a DSLR model).

If you're referring to the DSLR models, the Konica Minolta Alpha 7D is the same camera as the Konica Minolta Dynax 7D. The Alpha 7D is intended for sale in the Japanese market.

The Maxxum 7D is intended for sale in North America (and is also the same camera except for the model name).

But, for warranty and service reasons, it's usually best to buy the camera intended for sale in the market you live in.

Cameras being imported and sold in the regions they are not intended for sale in are known as "gray market" cameras, and manufacturers will often not cover them under warranty in the region you live in.

Some manufacturers will refuse to service a gray market camera, even if you are willing to pay them to service it. This is done, in part, to discourage bypassing of the authorized regional distributors.
