Just got home and the 7D and lens from Walmart had been delivered about one hour ago.

Mine is in town, and will be out for delivery tomorrow. Now, aren't you sorry you made the jokes about my UPS guy? :-)

My 7D came this morning. I tried it out a bit indoors. I like the feel, but although I have pretty big hands, I can hold the 5D just fine. The 7D is about 1" wider. I noticed that all my lenses are tighter going on and coming off. I am going to try to get out and take some pictures this weekend and possibly do a side by side comparison.

My life is over. Does anyone know of a good rehab center in NYC?

Of course you can hold it and the 5D isn't bad,but the 7D generally feels more comfortable or natural. Both cameras have top notch ergonomics and the lightweight feel of the 5D is hard to pass up.

Try them both in continuous shooting mode, the larger buffer in the 7D is nice.

Four7Ds is definitely a sign of a problem. I know where you can donate those cameras to a worthy cause to help with your problem.

I only have 3 left now. I gave one to my friend for his upcoming b'day. Of the three, I'm keeping one as a backup, one for indoor shooting, and one for the rough outdoors. The last one is what I got from Adorama after two returns, the other two are from Walmart. Sweet huh?
