During a very busy day to take some photo's.
Some vintage planes flew in this morning. And trying out a new soft box late afternoon.

Nice pics Mike. I could be wrong, but it appears you have captured the essence of a shy teenage girl. I love the pose.
Your airplane shot is sharp as a tack. I have a minor quibble, if I may. If you had used a shutter speed of 1/400 or less, the propeller would have a nice motion blur. Great picture by any standard. (Not familiar with that camo, must be a British thing).

Thanks Robert
Yes she started her transformation about a year ago. I used to babysit this one when she was in the crib. Man, things happen fast. I agree with you about the prop and motion blur. I was shooting in aperture and hoped that f/8 would slow the shutter enough while I panned. Nope, not enough. I could have lowered the ISO. Next time!

Hawgwild has a point.
You might want to try motion blurring the propeller in PS. This really is not right, but was quick & easy to do using the motion blur effect in PE. A novice probably wouldnt notice what's not right. PS: Funny how sharpness in a photo is not always of the essence. |
