Default Need Recommendation for Sony A550 lenses for Weddings?

Hello there,

I own a Sony A550 with the factory lens.

I am going to start taking photos on weddings semi-professionally so i would like to ask you to recommend me lenses for my camera.

Budget 300+ dollars.

In addition, i would like to ask you your opinion about how much would you rate the camera and the lenses you recommend to me, especially for wedding photography.

Thank you in advance!

If your limited to $300. your going to find it a challenge to get a lens for weddings.
I suggest trying to find your way into the Sony 18-50mm f2.8 It is virtually silent (important for weddings), very fast and excellent IQ.

I think you have posted this in the wrong forum.

Yep. It was posted in the Sony forum for Point and Shoot models. So, I've moved it to Sony Alpha dSLR / Konica Minolta dSLR, Sony SLT Forum, where more of our members with Sony dSLR models may see it and make suggestions.

For weddings, I'd get a Sony HVL-F43AM Flash ($320), and I'd stick with the 18-55 kit lens until I could afford the Sony/Zeiss 16-80.
