I haven't used the A200 for a long time, so I took it out to shot a few pictures at the neighborhood lagoon. I paid $35 for it from Ebay a while back.

Timeless quality especially the first shot of the Heron.

Thanks! The lens is still very good even at today's standard. Yes, the front element of the lens rotates and the focusing is a little slow, but the Minolta optics has excellent color rendition. I plan to try the lens again with a newer body, an SLT-A58 when it arrives in a week or so.
