Hi!
I know I wont be much help, but I would suggest if you can pm sintares or luna honour about it, try to. Maybe they can figure it out for you. Coz I was able to do it just by following their instructions, as you can see on my post. Good day to you though! And good luck for your search too! |

If anyone have a source for cheap non-english Alphas that are past A100 then I would love to test further with modifying the firmware. ![]() |

This look promising for my Lumix GF1 which I bought in Japan and only have a japanese menu. It would be great if the same method can be applied to my Lumix GF1 so that I can have an english menu.
Has anyone done it to their japanese version Lumix GF1 and would like to share how you did it? Thanks in advance... |

I bought Sony A230 with Japanese Firmware 1.10 and I want to change the firmware to English one.
(Note that 1.10 is latest firmware on A230 and I already have that version installed) I tried to update the firmware using the same method as described here. However, my camera is not showing the confirmation dialog to update the firmware. Not even Japanese version. Is it because I already have latest version 1.10 installed? Have anyone done it before? Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Last edited by stay_in_ur_heart_4ever; Mar 23, 2010 at 8:26 PM. |

I recently bought a Japanese A100 as a replacement for my damaged A100, I modified the Firmware file (or so I thought) updated the camera but the thing stayed in Japanese.
![]() Is there another way to change the language to English? or more like someway to change the firmware again? Thanks in advance |
