Sony support for repairs of Minolta cameras???
Sony closed the Minolta repair facility and Sony's facility has had my Minolta 700si since April 2006 and it is still not repaired or returned. Nor has another facility been able to get a repair shoe for my Minolta 5400 flash in that same length of time. I deal with a major camera shop and they are exasperated with Sony as well as embarrassed and frustrated. I'm no fan of Sony to begin with but this is reinforcement for my efforts to avoid anything Sony. |

it seems that existing Minolta users will only be interesting to Sony after buying
an Alfa, OK, we are not so many, compared to canikon, and we are probably deemed as laggards by their marketing department, even if Minolta was on forefront of inovation very often one thing is certain, this is definitelly not the way to keep customers, and who knows, maybe they can afford not to care, but that is something they will have to find out |
