Hello Folks,

In the "Owners Manual" page #: 99, of the 7D body is a feature named "Zone Matching"

Did any of you use this feature?:P

Any input/explanation...will be very heart full welcome

Peace,

Alex 007:|

Alex,

It is the same as the ISO low and ISO High settings on your old 5D. High key scenes are like a skier in white clothing against a white, snowy background, and low key is like a man dressed in black against a black background. The high/low zone matching is supposed to help with these scenes. I have never used it, I assume it works.

Hello my dear Cope!

Yes I recall now, that in my first Dynax 7D was something like this, today I try...but the difference was NOT big...so I return to the ISO set up...in my case 99% 200 ISO.

Add a example of High Zone...+ soft focus PP!

Thank you so much for your heart fully explanation!

Be well, & peace always:love:

Alex, the zone matching is really only useful for a black on black or whie on white situation. Most of the time it will be of little use, but I did set *memory set* to go to ISO/Zone Matching just in case.

Alex, I should have said low key is for dark colorshigh key is for light. I always think black and white. Look on page 99 of your manual.

Yes...I agreed with Alan (Cope), or with a help of any PP software, also is possible to Improve, the white dress issue!?

What ever now is also as in Alan (Cope)...in my #:1 memory seettings in my lovely Dynax 7D body "In case...that will be needed".

Don't think...that I will use this feature so often!:P

Peace, Tango!

Dear Alan,

I try to set the "Memory Set" #:1 to go as you set up...& I really can't or more specific...don't recall how to do it that ONLY the "Zone Matching"...will be ready...instead the ISO also...enter also Exposure/Aperture/ File size; etc... when I ONLY want the "Zone Matching"...to be usefully when I move the knob to Memory #: 1. Sorry Alan...maybe you can explain me better?.

Thank you so much,

Peace,
