Need Some help here.

Had an unfortunate accident with my 28-70 2.8 lens and need to replace. Can buy replacement Tokina used for about $300 and i also found on ebay a 70-210 2.8 Tokina Current bid of $450. I am just not to familiar with tokina. Any info will be good.

I will pay the extra money for a better lense if neccesary but hoping i can just save a little.

Depends on which Tokina 28-70 you're looking at. Check out Dyxum.com and you can get some reviews on those particular lenses.

I own botha Tokina 28 - 70 F2.8 and a Tokina 80 - 200 F2.8 and I absolutely love them both.I am not sure about the 70-210 F2.8 but I feel the Tokina line < F2.8> is very solidly built and produce very sharp images.

But, like DrChris says, check outDyxum.com as well.

BTW, I bought both of mine, together, for $500 from a friend. He has gotten out of the photo-world and was looking to dump everything. Too bad for him, Yeah for me!
