I played with my kit lens this weekend and ended up with some really good pictures. I'm surprised at just how sharp this lens is.

These were both resized for the web they are taken in Athens Ohio at Ohio University.

Is the first shot of St. Paul's Catholic Church?

My step-son got married to an alumnus of OU in St. Paul'sthis past May.

It's a beautiful church, but I bet the bricklayers were making some inappropriate comments as they were building it.

Nice shot. It seems your 18-70 is sharp enough to show all the intricate brickwork.

It is St. Pauls and your right I'm sure the brick layers were using some choice language.
