Hello Frank

I will follow your advice and try Irfanview that i have by the way.

I found a few good ones but they don't keep the exif information when

resizing.

But as a newbie there are so many things to learn about sharpness:

(depth of field , rules of the thumb, lens sweetspot etc...)

and knowledge of using flashand being able to remember all that

when needed... That's whyis so much fun!

And surrounded by great guys like you i'll survive:-)

regards

Andy

Andy

You made me search why the photo wasn't sharp as the original (by the way FrouFrou's color is apricot) and i found this information here:

http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tuto...r/bicubic.html

and here for solution for those like me who are not mastering photoshop:

I'm using a program quick and easy called pixresizer i guest i will have to adjust

myself to something else if i want to sharp pictures in the future.

Have a nice and peaceful day

regards

Andy

Every once in a while, my old Tamron 35-105mm f/2.8 surprises me. This one was at 60mm and f/3.2 (just a quick candid snapshot of my niece while she was standing on the front porch at my brother-in-law's).

Hello Jim,

Yes really very "Unformaly" snapshoot! truly a good lens!

Waiting this month to the Tamron representative call here in Israel, that my ordered 18-250mm zoom arrived. Sure i will post some photos using this zoom lens...trusting that will render excellent performance:?

Peace,

I dunno. Probably wrinkles and pimples. She's going to be sorry that she doesn't wear much makeup if she ever sees all of the snapshots I take of her. I've been taking pics of her for years with a variety of cameras and lenses (she's my younger sister's daughter and I think she's 26 now, with 3 children of her own and one more on the way).
