Favorite lens? I haven't figured out my favorite beercan yet!

Actually this was inspired by the fine work done by rduve in the "Terrible Dilemma" thread.

A100+Beercan. 1/125 sec @ f/8 + flash. ISO 100.

I don't normally post, but since I can't sleep tonight....

The first shot (monkey) was taken with my ancient 28-85. Not that it's a great picture, but the experience taking the picture was awesome. I was on a jungle tour in Costa Rica. This Howler Monkey (with baby) wasabove our tour group. The other Howler Monkey'sdidn't like that we were there and were really making some noise about it.

The second picture is also from Costa Rica. Again, it's not that great of a picture (composition isn't great). But it'sone of my favorites because it's hand held, while sitting in a smallboat with about 10 other people. The lens isa Tamron 200-500.

Hello Folks!

Recently was the birthday of my third daughter, so we gave her a large flowers bouquet, so I shoot a few photos, & this attached one Super Macro one made with the "Kit" one that I received when I brought a Dynax 5D, which during two days I sold & updated to my presently Dynax 7D. Sold only the body, leaving the "kit" lens for my use.

Now I decided to leave fitted all the times, the 2 decades old Minolta 24-85mm from my Maxxum 9xi film body. But this specific macro photo was shoot with the Chinese kit lens.

Enjoy it

Peace,

Hello Folks!

Today I made to myself a gift! A Gillette "Fusion" razor, so I shoot this attached photo with my today fitted 24-85mm zoom lens from 2 decades ago. as close as possible 0.45cm...but as the blade is so small I crop it till satisfies me in my Picasa photo organizer software!:P

For your enjoyment

Peace,

Alex 007:|
