I'm just curious about this lens:

Sony SAL-50F14 Normal 50mm f/1.4 Autofocus Lens

Any personal experience with it? It's really veryaffordable.Does that mean it'sreallya piece of crap as far as glass quality or what?I mean I'm surprized thatone can even get an f/1.4 for that price in any focal length.

I'm interested in a decent portrait lens with a little less focal length thanmy 85mm which I sometimes find difficult to work with.

Any info on this lens would be greatly appreciated. :-)

Thanks for that link. Tells me exactly what I had hoped to hear for the most part. And I have small hands so I don't think that will be an issue for me. Sounds like a good lens for the money. Glad I decided to question it. It should arrive on Monday!
