I currently use a Canon EOS 20D digital camera and am very happy with it, BUT I have an old Minolta XG-1 apeture priority manual focus camera and several lenses collecting dust in the closet. What I would like to know is, will the Minolta mount manual-focus lenses work on a newer Minolta digital camera. Granted they will have to be used in the manual mode, but will they work?

THanks,
Mike

no...neither MC nor MDwill mount...the digitals take minolta's 'A' mount only

supposedly they will mount with a specialty 2X adapter, but, the image quality and resulting f stop (2 smaller) leave much to be desired

IMO: don't waste your time, bite the bullet
